If it were patently untrue, Kemp would have sued for defamation of
character or something of the sort.  According to the media folks
I've heard, who spend a good deal of time paying attention to the
Sonics, the leak to Vescey was his sister, who works for (or closely
with) the Sonics.  Which means it's probably a good lead.
