Mike, I'll try not to take off on a sideline OS/2 tangent, but I will
tell you that your problem isn't so much with Paradox, as it is with
WinFaxPro. Delrina's tech support is one of THE WORST I've seen and
dealt with. I will never ever buy another Delrina product, I don't
care how much they pay the industry press to hype their products.

If you're looking for a good faxing solution to use with PdoxWin 5.0
there's one that comes with Warp called FaxWorks for OS/2. It is
included FREE with Warp as a part of the Bonus Pak CD in the Warp
package. I've got it installed and it is excellent software. Meets
or beats WinFax in every category, not to mention the fact that it is
32-bit OS/2 PM software so it doesn't have the 640k DOS limitation.

I'm running PdoxWin 5.0 under Warp with no problems and it is working
like a charm. I do however have 16megs of memory and with your 12megs
you should still be ok, although I do not recommend that setup on a
8meg machine, no matter what IBM says about Warp's ability to run in
4megs. You really need 12 or 16 megs to really see its benefits.
