I don't see the problem really, various groups try to convert people all
the time, but people can't be converted against their will. I don't think
the Salvation Army has routines like this going on:

SA: Do you accept Jesus Christ as your lord? Hungry person: Well, no I'm
agnostic. SA: Get out!

Rather, I think once the hungry person says no, that they feed him along
with the believers.
