The blather going around these days is generally about the guy who goes nuts
and shoots his entire family.
"If we didn't have guns PERIOD, that would never have happened, etc. etc."
This is some of the thinking behind our latest law to register all fireams.
There was even talk of keeping them locked up at the local police stations.
No fooling. About 20 years ago you could walk into a hardware store here and
buy a rifle or shotgun with just ID saying you were at least 16. And now...
won't be too long before they say only cops and and soldiers can have them.
It's no where near as bad in the USA of course, but give it time. Look at
the UK now for example.
