EK> I moved unto the Amiga with Dr T's Copist and Bars & Pipes Pro.
There are still some folks out here plugging away with their
Amiga's. Still many of us have moved to the PC or the Mac. Not
because these are better systems but because they have the software
tools that we want and need to do a professional job quickly and
cheaply.
I'm also interested in making animation videos to accompany my audio
work. I've checked into using a Video Toaster to accomplish this. As
far as I know, PCs and Macs cannot handle the demands placed upon them
by a Video Toaster. Their more simplistic internal architectures just
cannot do it as quickly and cheaply.
EK> Happy composing, no matter what you use!
Here here!
P.S. And just for the record, I understand your student horn analogy
but that aside, just to set the public record straight, the C64
running the SONUS Super Sequencer can handle 8-track MIDI
sequencing not just 3 or 4. So to those of you who have Commodore
computers but have not kept up with the developments made for
the platform in this decade, you may want to write me for more
info.
