Around here the price also seems to be around $20/month. We have the
opportunity here to go the cable route for $60/month. I think that's a
fairly reasonable price. You'd need 4 dedicated ISDN lines to have the same
effect. How much do you think that would cost? My estimate is about
$1000/month
No doubt that 1 cable modem is faster than, AND MUCH CHEAPER THAN 4 ISDN
lines.
Also, ISDN has a usage charge, and cable modems don't. However, bandwidth
that isn't used is no bargin, no matter how cheap. Perhaps I'll jump on the
bandwagon one of these days, but for the time being, $40/month to surf isn't
worth it.
