No, I build my entire origin of life
as a product of the sun's energy - the main - almost total energy at the time
of the origin.

I don't think anything happens when there is no heat. I think the sun powers
virtually all the chemistry you talk about. 

I also think the sun temperature range must be in the range of liquid water at
the origin.

Thus the sun is the only cyclical , plentiful, and non random energy source
that keeps the planets water in liquid form.
