Hello Maurice Kinal!

My system has both of these:
[1]
EMP: /FIDO/ASIAN_LINK
ABS: Maurice Kinal@1:153/7001
BET: MSGID
ROT: 2:221/1!153/7001 757 221/6 1
MID: 1:153/7001 8QIOgQad
EDA: 20210412014100W+0
LEN: 2042
BEZ: 2:221/1.58@fidonet ef514dc6
MAILER: GNU bash, version 5.1.4(1)-release (x86_64-motorshed-linux-gnu)
X_C:
X-XP-NTP: 30
F-TO: August Abolins
X-XP-Charset: UTF-8
[2]
EMP: /FIDO/ASIAN_LINK
ABS: Maurice Kinal@1:153/7001.2989
BET: anyway the wind blows
ROT: 2:221/1!153/7001 757 221/6 1
MID: 1:153/7001.2989 8QIOgQad
EDA: 20210412205200W+0
LEN: 811
MAILER: GNU bash, version 5.1.4(1)-release (x86_64-motorshed-linux-gnu)
X_C:
X-XP-NTP: 30
F-TO: August Abolins
X-XP-Charset: UTF-8
But the subtle difference in these two lines:
[1] == MID: 1:153/7001 8QIOgQad
[2] == MID: 1:153/7001.2989 8QIOgQad
Perhaps you need to keep the "address" part the same for a valid
test.
