Gotta agree with you here... :)   One caveat, though, if there's outside
influence (like parental interference) it can make it harder for the 2
to work on things, and that can be another force for not working...

Nearly 32 years here, and I have a kid whose age helps me keep track of
how long...     We've had our rough spots, but as you say, where both
are willing to work on the marriage, a lot can be overcome.  :)
