Jose Sasian designed an off-axis newt using a regular tilted paraboloid and
a toroidal mirror convex secondary.  His free design program allows one to
adjust spacing, radii, etc and derive the spot diagram.

Subsequent telescope making articles develop effective methods to make and
test this toroid.

Anybody use this design?  the program is accessible through the "Weird
Telescope" webpage.
