Now THAT explains why you guys in QLD do so well into Sydney - it's
downhill all the way so you start out as 28.8 and accelerate up to 33.6 by
the time you get here due to the effects of gravity.  Calls going the
opposite way would slow down hence the reports of different bps rates for
each direction.

If the theory holds then calls to Perth should do even better since they
would have the added bonus of acceleration due to the earth's spin.

Treasure him - the kid is a veritable genius.
