As we don't have CID here in Sweden i'm not sure about this function with the 
U1496 series, but I'm using it together with our Elite 2864I (which works 
with the ISDN specific number presentation) and FD 2.20c.mL and I will
describe how I did to make it work.
First I dont use the LDFRS as it dont work together with ZyXEL's way to 
present the number. So you can disable it again.
Second is to change status msgs in FD setup, change RING| to RING /wout the 
following pipe. Now FD loggs the Number in it's log and you may see who's 
calling you. Also FD now answers on the 1'st ring signal again.
