Having completely junked the original idea for my Star Trek stories, I've
s= ettled on a slightly easier idea for a series of stories.

Anyway, to get back to the point, I've been trying to work out the main
cha= racters for the stories. The thing is that I'm trying to work out what
sort= s of information I should have worked out about the characters (and
have wr= itten down) before I start writing stories featuring them.
