Check with Austel's approvals section to see whether the approval included
service tone detection. If the approval claims service tone detection and
your service tone detection doesn't work, Jim Helm at Austel may be able to
have it tested for you. Of course it is important to note what lind
exchange you are on, and what kind of access network you have (length and
gauge of cable, any RCM or RIM devices between you and the exchange...).
