A converstion in another area got me to mention this. And, a reply was asked for.... DC> I've got a story about that if you want to hear it. It has DC> to do with my Dad's funeral. ======== As I mentioned to the poster, it's a long story. After all, it is about sons and dads. When young, sons look at their dad as, if not god, the closet person that could be god. I'm not sure if dads look at that point in their sons in the same way and quite understand that... As sons grow up, they find the flaws in their orginal theory. Thus, they start questioning their god-figure on various things. And, at times, they do things purposely that makes the god angry. That begins sometime about the time that the son reaches puberty. And, it can last many, many years before a truce can be reached. ------- This is the first installment. As I mentioned, it's a long story! ...
