the point that i am trying to make is that even though you have a 33.6k 
modem, is is most likely that the modem on the other end is a 28.8k and so 
you would only get 28.8k unless you know someone that has a 33.6k, then 
your in luck, i am not trying to say that 33.6k are no good, they are 
legendary, but the hard fact is that harldy anyone has got them, and if we 
give them time to expand, well 6 months is the time for them as in 6 months 
cable modems are gonna be unleashed and are capable of doing 1 or 2 meg per 
second................................
