I first learned from Logic for Mathematicians by Rossier. For a second text
I chose Mathematical Logic by Alanzo Church. Much liked his invention of the
calculus of lamda-conversion. Read the original Princeton University
research text where he introduce this notion; The Calculus of
Lamda-conversion, by Alanzo Church. Later decades it was taken up by
computer buffs, for example LISP programming language.
