Hello William,

How very kind of you to answer me.

Does the documentation reflect that? Doesn't matter much now anyway, though I'd
quite like to be reassured I've not gone completely loopy.

I'm using MM Win32 v0,46. I can only confirm that I tried every combination I
could think of, but once I'd put a version of Textpad in a new directory with
<8 chars, everything worked like a charm. I'm writing this in Textpad at the
moment. The only minor frustration is that textpad has a utility designed to
prevent multiple instances of TP being opened and I can't get that to work with
MMail. Apart from that, which I can live with perfectly well, I'm delighted.

Thanks again for taking the time to write. I HOPE this reply gets back to you
OK.

All the Best
Ian
