Well, standard or not isn't important (other than the salesmen that talk
them into paying 5 times as much for non-standard), what's important is
having back-ups regardless.

I didn't take you wrong at all. I think your position of having them
justify their response down the road a bit is a good one (which applies
equally from precinct>city>county>state>federal)

See above, yes that is exactly what I mean by not wanting to cast blame at
so early a date, it's simply not worthwhile to do so in the midst of the
rescue and recovery operations -- there needs to be a forensic examination
later.
