Why would I want to do that?

Mostly I try for more on the screen rather than less. Right now the linux
box is in a 50x132 mode, the other one I put in either 50-line or 43-line,
depending, as that's a monochrome vga monitor and very slightly smaller,
and I haven't fiddled with fonts on that system yet.

I used to use 60 lines, but found myself having to lean toward the screen
more of the time to read the stuff.

I've seen some mention of that here and there, never looked into it. I
probably should.

That's another thing I've seen that's poorly handled at times.
