I just reloaded Win2000 on my spare (backup) FAT-32 hard drive to use as
emergency access to my NTFS formatted XP drive. I noticed that after I
downloaded and installed SP-3, access to the critical update page at MS
changed. Also, Win2000 starts up and shuts down much faster. Actually
I'm impressed because it does better than XP in that respect.
But what I'm getting at is maybe if you applied SP-3 you would regain
access to the critical updates. I can't remember if you have already
installed SP-3 or not. Lots of Win2000 users have refused to apply it
because some of the changes supposedly make the system unstable.

Actually I was stationed at Luke over in Glendale. Used to drive to
that area with buddies mainly to meet the girls at ASU.
