PowerBASIC itself does not generate any code to release time slices.
(How would we know what it critical code in your program and what is
not?)
However, programs written in PowerBASIC run just fine in multi-tasking
environments.  We're even DesqView aware (no screen bleed-through with
the PRINT statement).
