Howdy! Mark,

Yes, I was using safemode with networking and Logged into the Admin
account that only shows up when the computer is in safemode.

That is why it bugs me not seeing Firefox open to do what I wanted.

There is another Admin account I can go to in safemode that I made soon
after I bought the XP pc when a person helping me with HP Tech Support
suggested that I make a second Admin account to see if it helped solve
the problem that I called HP about.

This Second Admin account I can also Log On to from a Normal BOOT.

I never deleted it after the Tech Support call ended.

In fact I use it all the time when ever I am asked to Run something as
Admin.

My reason for wanting to Run Firefox in Admin safemode was to check to
see if Firefox had finished updating to v31.0 , because ever since I
received the Firefox v31.0 update I've been getting a pop up every time
I start Firefox in the Limited account, that says something like the
update couldn't be finished because Firefox was being updated somewhere
else, or by something else.

My Log On screen gives me 3 accounts to choose from.

1. The Second Admin account

2. A Power Users account I thought would be exactly what I needed to
use to be able to do ANYTHING I WANTED TO DO with the pc.

3. The Limited account.

BTW, the Limited account WAS the Original Account that I could Log On
when I got the pc and it WAS the Admin account until after I made the
Second Admin Account to use to change the Original account to Limited
because I wanted to keep the baddies away as much as possible from
doing any harm to the pc.

... I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it and besides, it was an accident.
