A Batch File I use runs a FTP Script to send and receive .REP & .QWK
packets in a XP CMD Prompt to get my BBS Fix.

Some times it hangs up and I will use the Print Scr Key to put what I
see on the screen into the Clipboard and then into Irfanview so I can
save what I saw on the screen in a .JPG so I can look at it later.

I have been reading XP Help&Support (H&S) lately to find out if what I
see happening on the screen during the packet transfer can at the same
time ALSO go into a Text File Log, using STDIN, STDOUT and Handles to
add what's on the screen into the Log.

Using Redirection >> in my .BAT would Append the Log file, but I don't
think I would see what was happening on the screen to know if the BBS
was Creating a LARGE .QWK packet or an Error happened to cause a hang
up while the .BAT is running.

I'd like both to happen during the FTP file transfer.
Any Ideas how to do that with a .BAT File (or in the FTP Script?)?

In XP H&S I've read that the /t Switch for DATE and TIME could be used
to display the Date and Time, and I've been thinking of adding them at
the top and bottom of the .BAT to show how long the .BAT file ran, and
if there was a Delay with it completing, or when the BBS Disconnected
the packet transfer because of an Error.

Does anyone have suggestions of other topics for me to read in H&S to
get what I want the computer to do what "I" want it to do?
