Well I finally did it. Had my first crash. A @#!! squirrel ran out
in front of me and I lost control of my bike trying to swerve and
miss him. Went sprawling on the pavement and skinned my arm and leg.
But worse yet, something bruised my ribs pretty badly so that I could
hardly breathe at first. Anyway, everything is getting better after
5 days and I'm back on the bike for my 300mi/mo.
