yes, that is also a possibility... many usb hubs that i'm aware of do not
use diodes on the power lines so the power from the hub also flows back
into the computer... a friend's dell system had problems due to a usb hub
like this... we always had to unplug the usb hub before trying to turn the
machine on or reboot it for any reason... it was quite aggrivating...
