Ahhh, OK.  Didn't realize it was a race.

I used to worry about always having the latest kernel, but I 
certainly don't anymore.  Running Slackware64 14.2, fully updated 
except for the kernel.  Constantly updating that breaks too many 
things that I don't want to bother fixing.
