File attachments are a fucntion of your off-line mail reader and not a
function of QModem. You need to find out how to attach a file in the mail
reader you use and the problem will be solved. QModem can upload files but
not attach them.
You mentioned an encoding program -- you don't need one unless you are
planning to send files through text-based mail services, such as Fidonet or
Usenet or local e-mail on your BBS. If you still want to encode a file, look
for UUENCODE on your BBS.
