Piece of cake, Gary.  Create a query that joins the tables, sets the 
condition that Belong_to_Group_A is True, check Date and put Calc sum in the 
Production field.  Save the query.  Then create a report, based on the query.
See no SQL, hear no SQL, write no SQL (or ObjectPAL, for that matter).
