Off to the WEST of Mudgee (out of town) the lines are REAL BAD, But Telstra
have just finished UPgrading the exchange out there for tone dialing, etc, so
My mate took his V.34 Modem I have running on my BBS to try the new exchange
out. We where sadly mistaken Tel$tra could do anything right :), at V.34 IT
FAILS TO CONNECT. The best we could do was a 2400 (V.21?) Connect. He's now
back to the HST courier where he gets a ROCK SOLID 14k4/HST connect :)

He's going to try to find a Courier to take home had see how that goes. (2400
aint real goot for internet access :(

 Cya!
Steven
