Oddly enough, he did fine in MS and AL, and the response time this time was
better than last year through 4 storms in FL, but no one was screaming
then, nor are they screaming in AL or MS this time.

That said, it makes no nevermind to me that he got tossed, with all the
hoopla someone had to go, he was as good a sacrificial lamb as any. The
mayor and governor will get their walking papers next election, as will
Senator Landrieu.

I still can't believe she told Chris Wallace yesterday morning that the
mayor has trouble getting them to work on a sunny day, let alone with a
hurricane bearing down (among other clueless positions). If a white
Republican ever said something so incredibly stupid, CNN would be running
it 24/7 until he/she were forced out -- I doubt they even covered her
remarks (but could be wrong as I don't tune them in much. Take a look:
