& filename

 It's the "sort of" part that might have an error in it.. So, as I
 said, if you don't get it exactly right, it aint gonna work and
 windows aint gonna tell you..

 PS:  Ah, I re-read some of the other messages.. I see you are trying
 to use 'textedit', and since it is only eight characters long, you
 won't need to use the ~1 to bring it back to eight charcaters.  So,
 if that is the 'sort of', not to worry..
