FF>> I've just returned from the Dynalink web page. They are quoting a FF>> RRP of only $239 !! TP> That's must be ex tax, or they expect their dealers to survive on a TP> bowl of rice a day. Around $265 would be closer to real price. Just checked again. "Australian Recommended Retail price only $239!" Also, just rang their Melbourne distributor, and they quoted me $239, (They actually quoted $209, as they are having a sale until the end of today). Interestingly, Dynalink sales staff denied it was a rebadged Sportster, claiming it was their own "stand alone" product. He also said it was NOT flash upgradable, (meaning their web site is lying), and it supported Rockwell's Class 2 fax, NOT Class 2.0 !! Anyone checked this out ?? And their dealer said, like every other Dynalink, it doesn't recognize Aust dial and busy tones, but it IS a rebadged Sportster. Someone's telling fibs, me thinks. Still, it's very cheap for a 33.6k modem ..... Regards, Frank ...
