TC| I need the Hayes command that will turn OFF autoanswer...

The ATA command is actually the manual answer command -- send it, and
the modem answers.
Auto answer is controlled by the ATS0 command.  Setting ATS0=0 turns
auto answer off, and setting it to any other number makes it answer on
that ring.
