I ran it several times and took the lowest time.

That ensures everything is cached in memory and the CPU has switched to 
the highest frequency, and filters out to some degree short lived 
processes which may be running in the background.

Normally you see the times decrease during the first few runs, then 
level out. If you have insufficient cooling you might see times go back 
up as the CPU thermally throttles.
