I am convinced that a 'style' that obfuscates rather than
self-documents is not a 'good' style of programming for _any_
language. As one who does not program on a daily basis it is
difficult to even modify existing code and recompile it without
having to scan through half the code searching for the value of
'p' in an 'if(p)' statement. YMMV
