I'm sure I'd go see it (or more likely rent it on DVD), but I recall when
in the bookstore with my son to buy him Lord of the Rings before the first
movie came out that he said he didn't want the new edition with the actors
on the cover, because he wanted to make the characters up himself.
It's been so long now though, that I forget what Carter looks like
(and forgot his name until you mentioned it) so the film would
work I guess.
