Hello Ruth!

RH> Play around with it; if it's not satisfactory, then all you've spent

RH> Singer sewing machines; the Pfaff doesn't seem to mind them.
I can't use them in my Brother, I know that. It's $1.29/cone at Joann
Fabrics.
RH> Well, if it's close enough, think of it next time you go.
I drive by it each day on my way to and from work. :)
RH> It's the store in town that gets most of our business so we go at
RH> least once a week.
It's got a pretty good crafting department.
RH> The Dritz adapter is the kind I have. I've never had a feed problem
RH> with it.
Good to know. I'll check out Walmart next time I'm there.
RH> Go figure. At least now you have a backup.
THat's right.
RH> I'd be so frustrated without a working sewing machine--I'd have to
RH> borrow one to keep me happy.
That's why I got the Brother.
RH> I've heard that you can melt it if your iron is too hot so if you do
RH> use it, be careful. It's not my favorite thread but sometimes it's
RH> the only thing that will do, as in when I sewed around a sweatshirt
RH> applique that changed color every couple of inches. I used the nylon
RH> on top and matched my bobbin to the shirt. Then I went over the edge
RH> with paint.
I'll have to try that sometime. I do quite a few applique's.
