I think that the Columbia Journalism Review is not exactly the best
barometer of accuracy, or perhaps lack of bias, especially as it relates to

So I'd take their hubris and position with a grain of salt. That said, I
think you've heard many conservatives complain about too much spending by
Bush in general. I hope that the porkbusters

recall that I called for the highway bill to be brought back and re-cast
without the pork while Katrina was still raging).

I doubt many Senators on either side will be willing to act responsibly,
but they may have to if the pressure gets turned up on the spending fools.
