Oops, misremembered that. So now you're almost halfway to being
able to assemble a tribute to _In The Court Of The Crimson King_!
There's an early version of "I Talk To The Wind" with Judy Dyble
on _Young Person's Guide to KC_, right? And I could bang together
a cover of the last part of "Moonchild" if you like... I wonder
how much it would cost to get Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson to cut
a duet version of "Epitaph".
But then, I suppose there'd be as little point to the project as
that _Tribute to Tapestry_ abomination. For that matter, Barth
Grooks covering Kiss is an amusing concept, but nothing I'm
interested in ever hearing on at least two counts. I know several
folks have expressed disdain and/or weariness with the whole
"tribute album" concept, but they are occasionally pretty good.
It get pointless pretty quick when you're on the third or fourth
Hendrix/Beatles collection, however, and even the second Leonard
Cohen tribute was pretty bad. Oh well. Let me know if you hear
of a tribute to Pearls Before Swine...
