Yep! This is an echo about composing music and not the difference between
platforms. Still seeing as how I've been there and done that I would like
to say there is a major difference between a student horn and a professional
instrument. My C64 was a great little computer and many of use into MIDI
today started with it. I moved unto the Amiga with Dr T's Copist and Bars
& Pipes Pro. There are still some folks out here plugging away with there
Amiga's. Still many of us have moved to the PC or the Mac. Not because
these are better systems but because they have the software tools that we
want and need to do a professional job quickly and cheaply.
The bottom line Steve, isn't the computer you use or the operating system
you use but the music you compose and the time and effort it takes to get
 there.
Happy composing, no matter what you use!
