MS CAN force whatever they want on the public. Windows 3.1 is clearly a
terrible DOS GUI. Some people who use it even think it's a wonderful OS.
Win95, while better, is still not MS's best work. To prove this I only
have to ask people to read MS's own web page on why they should be using
NT. MS clearly points out Win95's short comings.
But I did not mention Win95... I stated that IE was being forced on the
public.. and it's NOT the choice of the public. More people use Netscape
then IE even though IE is packaged with Win95! Also, it's not "free
enterprise" when MS tells retailers that they cannot sell Win95 w/o
selling IE with it. Let me clearify what MS is doing. XYZ company sells
the only milk in the world. Several other companies sell good bread. Now
XYZ starts selling a lesser quality bread and tells retailers that
unless then ONLY sell XYZ bread they won't get milk to sell. This is
your "free enterprise"? It does not sound free to me and it does not
sound "free" to the Federal Governement either.
