Janis,
JK> Very sad. My eldest sister died of that one, Dad died of lung cancer,
JK> Mom died of about seven or eight various cancers... my 2nd oldest had
JK> thyroid cancer but survived thank goodness. Cancer is nasty business,
JK> for sure. One of the meds I take supposedly prevents it, but who knows
JK> really.
I saw a story on Fox News this morning that pharmacies are having a hard
time getting prescription drugs with these "supply chain issues". While I
take several medicines, I'm not in critical status with any of these right
now. There are a couple that I have PLENTY of...so they'll last awhile. And,
it helps having a good prescription drug plan.
Fox News' editorial cartoon noted "Big Pharma Cash Cow", with a green and
white heifer, and its udder was full of protruding Covid-19 syringes instead
of nipples. While I personally have had both initial shots, and the booster
(all Pfizer), I was lucky that the only bad thing I got from it was a sore
left arm. However, I don't know if my atrial fibrillation was caused by the
shots (the first 2 were in April, the booster was in October), or drinking
all that diet green tea citrus...my heart rate shot up to 155 twice, and I
ended up being ambulatory to the ER, and hospitalized both times.
