Yes. A lot of software will look in its home directory if it
can't find a file it needs. Anyway, entering only textpad.lnk in
the configuration file should get around the eight character limit
if that is the problem. BTW, "folder" is what windows calls a
directory ;-). So the default folder is the same thing as the home
directory.
