Rather than using Netscape, use a newsgroup reader like Free Agent.  It does 
NOT include a MIME/base 64 decoder, but you can use an external utility such 
as SJHB64.EXE for that.
Free Agent is somewhat different than Netscape... you download the headers, 
then select which article bodies you wish to retrieve and trash the rest.  
Once you retrieve the bodies, if it's UUE encoded, F.A. will do it... if not, 
export the body to a file with a .B64 extension and run SJHB64 on the file.
