Hello, Mark. Wednesday February 23 2011 at 10:21, you wrote to me: MH> That same system runs my webserver and a few other things. Good to hear! I am running OS/2 Warp 4.52 on a Dell Dimension 4550 (2.0gHz/P4, 2GB RAM, 400GB total physical storage). My board is running Maximus/2 v3.01 and all of my "support" software, except for one package, is OS/2 native. I write DOS doors primarily but I have been pondering trying to write OS/2 native doors for myself...just because I can. I've not had good experiences with VMs but I think it's from a lack of experience using them. I really have no reason to use a VM for the BBS myself but it's interesting to hear that you've been so successful with that and especially with eCS since OS/2-eCS can be notoriously picky about hardware. :) Later, Sean ... My other computer is an AS/400. --- GoldED/2 3.0.1* Origin: Paragon BBS - 423.926.7999 - paragon.darktech.org (1:18/200) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 18/200 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
