Will have to check how to do a firmware reset. I have done this on some
LJ4x ¨laser printers, usually to reset the Jet Direct card.

I have pulled my hair out twice with 2 different LJ-4SI printers. They
both ¨were low mileage (not even 100k pages) and were jamming on the 2nd
page. One ¨page prints were ok. I put in the maintenance kits in (every
roller in the ¨printer), fuser, toner, and even changed the input assembly
in the first one. ¨Turned out to be the main board in both. HP said it
was a timing problem in ¨them.
I dont think this printer is worth the $$$ for repair.
