You'll have to take that up with the author's of the book.  I found the
pages I had copied on Ritalin but I don't know what drug handbook it was
from (wasn't the PDR) and it stated there was the possibility of
"psychological addiction."

If you read my whole message, you know that I am not in this category.
While I don't think medication should be the first thing tried, I think
its use is very valid in treating ADD/ADHD; as I said, I've seen it make
a world of difference.
