I offered a similar argument before and was told my position wasn't
compatible with my previously declared feminism.
This meant I was
a)lying about my beliefs, or
b)lying about being a feminist, or
c)a feminist, despite the seemingly contadictory nature of my beliefs.
And seeing as how on soc.men, a feminist is ALWAYS called a
liar...well, apparently there was just no way to make a point. Unless I
surrendered and said I wasn't a feminist, but that would then mean I
was a sexist.
And if I said I wasn't a feminist it would mean I had seen the light,
hallelujah Praise the Lord.
And seeing as how I was a feminist, that would be "proof" that
feminists were sexists.
Perhaps that's why I keep coming back to this newsgroup, just for that
dizzy spinning sensation I get when I read the threads.
