RW> TW> I don't put many miles on my cars anymore. But I do give then an
RW> TW> "Italian" tune up once in a while. I am near the edge of town right
RW> TW> off
RW> TW> Interstate 8 and can "Clean Out the Carbon" once in a while.
RW> TW> One time when i was really in the "outback" of East Can Diego County
RW> TW> I was driving my 1998 S-10 chev pickup and found out the 4.3 V6 was
RW> TW> Rev Limited to 95 MPH Realy scared my. Here I was out in the Middle
RW> TW> of NOWHERE and the Engine appreared to Die. Of course after teh
RW> TW> vehicle slowed down a bit it cut bac kin.

RW>You can go into the ECM and program a higher speed limit if you want. But,
RW>I think 95 is too fast for that little truck.

Definatly. I have NO interest in bumping it up and mopst likely will
never get it up there again. BUT there are a lot of Tempting streatches
if I-8 between El Cajon and the Summit overlooking Imperial Valley.
